We've been going here for a few years now, originally due to the proximity to where we were living and now just because we trust them to take care of our cars. I've purchased 8 tires, two brake jobs, an O2 sensor, a windshield washer fluid motor, and various other repairs and "scheduled/recommended maintenance" over the years and their pricing is far better than any other mechanic I've tried. A few friends go here who used to be tire-and-lube shop employees and agree they have fair pricing and do not attempt to oversell or fix things that are not broken. The waiting room doesn't suck if you're stranded, though they've given me a few rides to work over the years as well. Overall I highly recommend this place,
I went into modern tire due to a noise I was hearing in my car. Brendan was very helpful at the front desk. My car was in and out in a short matter of time. I highly recommend all at modern tire but especially Brendan.
Excellent customer service. I have been going to Modern Tire since I moved to Connecticut a few years ago. Brendan in the service department is always so helpful and ensures timely service.
Came here for vin verification. They took my keys and my domements. They did not set clear expectations around wait time. It took well over an hour just for simple vin verification. It would have been nice to know ahead of time how long this would take. The person who I interacted with definitely needs some coaching staff on how to provide better service.
I had a great experience here. Thought I was going to need a new tire, and they looked at it and let me know it could be fixed without having to buy a whole new tire!! The staff was was very friendly, I worked with Brendan, he was especially helpful! I got there around 9am and was out by 9:30...I will definitely be going back for all of my tire/car needs!!
