I don't typically write negative ratings. I'd like to give all the benefit of the doubt, but in addition to this incident, I've had problems over time with customer service here as well.

Very good service. I had a problem with my jump starter and they helped me replace it with no questions asked. I recommend them because they are professionals.
My wife had to return a product that was defective. The person waiting on her insisted that there was nothing wrong with the product. My wife encouraged him to try the product in the store. He quickly learned that it was in fact defective. He angrily walked away from her and refused to attend to her. She called me and I heard him loudly mocking her over the phone. After significant prompting he credited my card. All this aggravation over a $14.00 product. REALLY???

I've been a customer for years and years, and Cables & Connectors is a trusted resource for everything the electronic hobbyist / PC tech might need. It's true they don't pretend to match bargain basement Internet prices, but you're paying for convenience. There's been lots of times on a Saturday afternoon that I needed one specific component, and couldn't wait for 2-day shipping. That's when these guys really shine, because they have such a large inventory on hand. Especially as Radio Shack stores are carrying less and less specialized components, it's nice to still have a brick-and-mortar store that has what I need in stock. Keep up the good work guys!
I urgently needed a PCI-E Network Adapter and was amazed that a place actually carried them, and on a Saturday! Went in, got it, and got my rig working. Highly recommended for parts that you will most likely not find anywhere else!
Fantastic inventory especially if you're looking for hard to find items. But grossly overpriced and absolutely terrible customer service.
Cables & Connectors please tweak your professionalism. While it's true that the customer may not always be right, at a minimum we (your customers) deserve to be respected. Please work on this guys.
